I have not watched it but I don’t need to, the liberal Canadian government blocked access to the trucker protesters money.

If they can do that with “traditional” banking how easy would it be for more liberal governments to do with digital currency?

It's extremely easy to do with *centrally* controlled CBDC, and much more besides, which is why (as the video explains) it's important to resist digital ID which is a key enabler for CBDC.

It's very important to differentiate between types of "digital currency" though, because current cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH etc.) are *decentralised* which makes it impossible for tyrants to abuse them in the way that the Canadian government did conventional FIAT currency.

I believe that one of the best ways we can protect ourselves against this technocratic threat is to become more aware of the risks of StableCoin (if issued by a government it can morph into CBDC, as the video explains) and to start shopping at businesses that accept at least one of cash and cryptocurrency, and use those payment methods exclusively.
